You may or may not be aware that there are a myriad of ways in which you can get connected to the Internet, right from the very lowly 56k Modem up to... well, why not even become your own ISP!?  However, Broadband is the buzz of the moment and is probably the most affordable efficient solution to get you started - essentially it gives you a fat pipe to the Internet, exponentially increasing your powers of communication all over the globe, not to mention making it incredibly fast and easy for you to actively manage an on-line web presence.

Where is 'Broadband' in the whole scheme of things?

• The 56k Modem - almost certainly the slowest form of Internet connection in today's market
• ISDN - better, but even bonded channels doesn't beat...
• ADSL - we use it, and quite simply, it's fast - many times faster than ISDN!  This is where you hit the collection of Broadband solutions with ADSL being the most affordable and widely available solution

After that there are many more faster and more powerful solutions for the mission critical users of the Internet - we're at a point now where ADSL is the starting block, and what a great position it is too.

How easy is it to get ADSL?

Very.  ADSL is a great solution and works over the existing telephone infrastructure, so you're nearly there already.  Slight modification of telephone exchanges is necessary by the telephony providers, but the coverage around the country is wide - Aylesbury was one of the first places to have an ADSL roll-out!
