Senior Technical Engineer

Active Technology is a company founded by engineers - a tradition embodied by our staff.

The Requirement: We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to add value to our specialist team.  The role has a wide list of responsibilities including sever builds, PC rollouts, network administration and much more!  So it is necessary for you to have experience of dealing with PC / technical issues, as well as on-site installations.  You will be based on client sites for approximately 50% of the time, so exceptional customer facing skills are essential.  Windows Sever and Desktop protocols (IP) are required, and a distinct bonus would be a sound understanding of Microsoft Exchange, Firewall, VPN and RAID configurations.

The Person: You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively - honesty and integrity are essential elements.  As this role will necessitate direct customer contact, a clean, well presented appearance is essential.  You will need to be able to work well under pressure and see projects through from start to finish.

The Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

The Opportunities: 1 permanent, full time position reporting to the Chief Engineer.
